Registration for Mesa FamilySearch Library Conference Now Open

Despite the fact that the Mesa FamilySearch Library building remains closed, the volunteers and missionaries have continued to plan their annual October, 2015 Family History Conference. The Conference is free, but requires registration. Here is the announcement:
IT’S TIME TO REGISTER for the 2015 Family History Conference sponsored by the Mesa AZ FamilySearch Library on Saturday, October 24, 2015.  Register NOW by going to www.mesafsl.org.  The conference is FREE and will be held at the Tempe Institute of Religion on the ASU Campus in Tempe, 1000 S. McAllister Avenue, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:10 p.m.  Attendees can register for as many as five classes and may also purchase lunch provided by Jason’s Deli.   The keynote speaker is Todd Powell, a Senior Product Manager for the FamilyTree Department at FamilySearch.org.  Come join us as we learn about “Putting It All Together.”
My wife and I have both been invited to teach at the Conference and so we will be traveling down to Mesa to attend. We look forward to seeing our friends from the Mesa FamilySearch Library and others.

Since we moved to Utah, my conference participation has been severely curtailed, partly by design and partly as a result of my commitment to teaching at the Brigham Young University Family History Library. You can view my class schedule and that of the other teachers on the BYU Family History Library Facebook Page. You can also view almost a hundred instructional videos on the BYU YouTube.com Channel. My goal is to do one new presentation or video each week. Of course, other instructors will also be adding their videos. My wife, has also been regularly adding video presentations.
